Advanced electronic acoustic leak detection
The Palmer XMic is the most advanced ground microphone for detecting leakage in water mains, trunk mains, residential and commercial water pipes. This state of the art leak detector was designed specifically to meet the demanding needs of the professional leak hunter. The ground microphone, often called an "elephants foot" due to it's shape, gives excellent shielding from external sound.
Frequency filtering allows the operator to selectively filter unwanted frequencies to highlight the sound of the leak. The XMic controller has a frequency range of 0 - 3000 Hz.
